Jason Statham was born on July 26, 1967 at Sherbrooke, Derbyshire, England. His mother Eileen Yates was a prominent dancer, and his father Barry Statham, was a street seller and lounge singer. He had moved to Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, where he initially had developed an idea not to follow his father’s occupation, working the local market stalls and decided to pursue the arts and motion pictures.
